The mealplans cover groceries and dinner recipes for four days, always for two people. Except on Mondays, when I cook for 3 small children and three adults.
What we ate:
Monday: Easy chicken in red curry.
Wednesday: Soba noodles and oyster mushrooms.
Thursday (and Friday!): Maltese rabbit stew.
This is my shopping list to cover for these five dinners:
- Rice noodles.
- Precut wok vegetables like broccoli, carrots, red and green peppers, bamboo shoots, corn, onion rings, sugar snaps…. Around 800 grams.
- Chicken, around 1 kilo.
- Red curry, a small jar.
- 2 cans of coconut milk, 600 ml.
- Grass-fed butter.
- 2 plaice.
- Asparagus, 600 grams.
- Salmon eggs. Small jar.
- Soba noodles.
- Celery, a bushel.
- Oyster mushrooms and regular mushrooms, 600 grams.
- 1 big rabbit in pieces (1 kilo).
- a few stalks of leek.
- a few carrots.
- a bottle of white wine.
From the pantry:
Olive oil, walnut oil, parsley, garlic, capers, bay leaves, ground sea salt and ground black pepper.
